Famfa Limited was incorporated in September 1991 and was awarded the leasehold rights to OPL 216 on the 10th of August 1993.
In February 1996, the company’s name was changed to Famfa Oil Limited with the vision to be the leading indigenous oil & gas exploration and production company in Nigeria.
We are currently one of the largest indigenous owned exporters of crude oil in Nigeria. We are committed to developing one of the deepest and largest offshore discoveries in the gulf.
The Agbami field has been operating since 2008 and will be operating for the forseeable future.
We plan to acquire and develop other assets as it continues to contribute to the development of indigenous operators in the country.

As we turn into a new decade we have decided to refresh and reposition the brand to be a global player with roots in Africa.
